Today let’s practice staying present in today. We are surrounded by many unknowns with COVID-19 that could keep us from living today. The time is now. No need to worry about tomorrow until it is here. Look at what is in front of you today.
The challenge today is to make a list of 5 things you are grateful for and bring you joy. When we think about what brings us joy, it most often involves other people. Relationships are important to us because of this joy they bring!
Then give your self permission to act on one of these things that you are grateful for or bring you joy. An example could be taking the time to send a note to the ones that bring you joy, simply pick up the phone to call a friend or loved one that you have in your life, sitting outside to listen to the birds, or gazing at the stars in the sky.
